Manage Inbox conversations

Use Inbox to work with conversations in one mailbox or across your team’s mailboxes. Search and filters narrow the visible conversations without changing the messages they contain.

Select conversations

Select the checkbox beside a conversation to work with it. The checkbox above the list selects the visible conversations. To include conversations beyond the newest 50 shown in the list, use one of these selection scopes:

• Select matching includes every conversation that matches the active mailbox, folder, search, label, attachment, read, and starred filters.
• Select all conversations includes every conversation in the active mailbox and folder.

You can clear individual conversations from the prepared selection before you apply an action. Changing the mailbox, folder, search, or filters clears the selection.

Update the selection

The selection bar shows the actions supported by every mailbox in the current scope. Depending on the folder and mailbox capabilities, you can:

• Archive or delete conversations.
• Mark conversations as read or unread.
• Mark conversations as spam or move them out of spam.
• Star conversations or remove their stars.
• Apply a label.

Select an action once. Sendmux processes large selections in the background and shows completed and failed conversation counts. Some messages in a failed conversation might already have changed. Review the listed failures before trying again.
